Embossing-punching-stamping

Embossing folders are so easy to use and there are so many to choose from.  They add instant texture and interest to your cards.  There are numerous techniques you can apply as well, but here is just the basic one with a glitter paper scallop punch popped up and punched butterfly and a little bling.  Have a lovely day creating something.

Watercolor stamping

Watercoloring with an aqua painter and ranger distress ink pads, simple one step stamping with a little washi tape for accent, the stamp set is from Unity stamps.  A decorated envelop tops it off.  WAITING to send this set off to my faborite peeps, my daughter, sisters and cousin.

Decorated  envelopes....you're  strolling down the path to your mailbox and open the small top rounded door to find a beautiful surprise awaiting you, a welcoming to the beautiful handmade note card inside.   The joy, what a wonderful feeling to know someone cared enough to spend precious time making you a handmade creation.  You beam all day with a sweet smile on your face!  My hope is that is what the recipients feel from mail I've sent, if, in turn, that would put a smile on my face.

New blog-first post

 Hello I'm so happy to be back blogging. I took a break for quite a long while, as life gets in the way sometimes. I used to blog at rosebudquilting.blogspot.com, I went back and forth with some ideas  for other blog topics because I enjoy so many hobbies, besides quilting, there's knitting, crochet soapmaking, embroidery, candlemaking, aromatherapy, flowers and gardens, baking, reading and home decor.

I've decided to share my love of stamping and handmade notecard making, something I've been doing for many years.  I'll be weaving in bits and  pieces of "me", my faith, quotes I like, things that inspire me and the like.  Of course, I hope to share the final product "handmade notecards" and how I use them.    This will not be just a stamping blog but a place where some of my story will come out in hopes to bring glory to the Lord. Thank you for coming along and sharing my journey.
