My unity week is finally here. I'm so excited to participate in this unity sponsored event. This week I'll be showing original designs using Unity stamps of course. There will be several differen types of projects. I will be showing cards, tags, a journal page, a special project, hymn art, Bible journaling, and a planner page. I've spent some time creating a wide variety of styles, techniques and colors covering, hopefully, something for everyone. Thank you for following along this week, I appreciate you spending your time here. I hope you will be inspired to go and make your own
creations. Thank you to the Unity Stamp company for giving us a platform to come together as a "community to encourage each other and have a lot of fun. Leave a comment on each of the post each day this week to be in the running for a chance of winning a grab bag of 25 stamps from the Unity Stamp Company. There will be two winners. Be sure to check out the other growing in unity posts that hAve been previously put up and any others currently running. Also, there is a ton of inspiration on the Facebook Unity page, the current challenge and of course their website and blog where there are plenty of tips and techniques.
This super cute owl stamp is the WIB – 104 "you're the sweetest". It was an itty bitty. I used Stampin' Up! pool party card stock and then I used a soft orange to complement the blue color. I like to add details with the embellishments. Embellishments from Michaels and Hobby Lobby. Of course it does make it slightly bulkier for mailing but it still works.
Let's not forget the inside of the card it's just as important to keep the fun going when they open the card up I like to decorate the inside along with writing a special note. Again the details; the washi tape, the pretty paper and the doily.
Don't forget to include a special handmade by you and sign your work. The back of the card is also a stamp from Unity.
Can you imagine getting this pretty decorated envelope in the mailbox instead of an ugly white bill. The excitement to open this beautiful decorated envelope I just think it's such a cute little image looks like the owl has had her portrait taken with the filmstrip stamp also from Unity. They really are just so so cute . If you were inspired by this blogpost card and/or envelope to make a creation of your own please share it on the Facebook unity page so we can all be encouraged. Well have fun Stamping away, see you tomorrow right here with another blog post will be waiting for you. Blessings Michelle.
If you would like to have posts delivered to your email you can sign up on the left. I've just started to get the blog going so it is a work in progress, allow some grace, thanks.

ReplyDeleteThank you very much. The doily came from Michael's craft store, they have one wall that has each color family with embellishments, great way to coordinate.
